Application
In game name(s): Blutnebel (player), AlienVampires (hero)
X-Fire: lordkroenen
Facton: Nationals
Main class(es) and lvl: Commando, 20
Why you want to join KCA:
I've been playing FPS since DOOM, and looking for a clan since UT99, however I've never found a game and clan that stuck together in a way that I found congruent to my own style of play. When I joined BFH, I was planning to do as I did in Gunz, and be "clanless by choice", as it is billed as a casual game, and every clan I've ever encountered has been so busy pretending that they'll get to first place and that it would mean anything if they did, that the idea of joining one was antithetical to my reasons for playing in the first place.
I played quite happily, minding my own business and ignoring the screaming teens, and put my stealth down from five to four when I hit fifteenth as I always unstealthed before attacking, and wanted the extra HP for a more balanced skill set. Things were going swimmingly, but when I got to 20th and began thinking about my end build I realised that something was missing. I switched from 4S/5E/1TT/1MT to 4S/4E/3TT and realised what it was: the fun. I was using TTs as mines, and ignoring their other uses. I'm a traceur IRL, and combining Eilixir and TT meant I never wanted to play Warsow again: I had found my free running simulator.
Now this is where the plot not only thickens, but also becomes relevant. I took some time on Team Arsenal's server to practice some rooftop lines on VV and RR, due to the fact that it's often blissfully dead, and so I could do so without restrictions. I also got used to doing TT jumps with my VLRP, and I found that I was getting a lot of vetical movement, but not enough lateral. Ever the studious one, I hopped on to YouTube and searched for a TT tutorial. Yup, you gessed it: Xael's vid came up. I watched it, took it in, and put it to practice. Obviously it helped, and I found myself crafting lines at a rather enjoyable rate. I then looked through his other videos, and realised that he'd been doing what I'd been doing for...well...quite a while longer. I added him along with a few other alumini during a game I had with Snail, SneakyChips, and a few others magically on the same server as me one day, and a few weeks ago tried to join Xael on a KCA server, which was password locked, and I decided to investigate further.
This led me on to the recruiting thread, which in turn led me here. I read the briefs, and to cut a long story short too late:
tl;dr - I'd like to join a clan that's more about having fun and honing skills than being number one and going neurotic over KDR. Anyone with experience of FPS can play this game quite well, so why not enjoy it instead of trying to be 1337, right? Of course, I've got some skills if they're needed, but that can be proven in-game, and I tend to play for at least an hour a day, but more likely four, so I've got the time to be active.

Re: Application
I've got TS, but unfortunately I'm having some problems with my PC's mic input socket, so I can't use it. This makes me annoyed on multiple levels, as I also can not record my album. I'm planning to get a netbook, but if I can work out a solution in the interim, I'll be on there.
X-Fire, though, is a good bet. If I'm playing BFH I'll be on X-Fire. Just put "KCA" in the supplemental message field during the add so I don't think you're another random. Also, I've bookmarked that KCA Hideout, and was wondering whether I might acquire the password?

Re: Application
No worries. My X-Fire's just to the left there, so feel free to add me. I added everyone on the X-Fire thread, but I assumed that, due to our X-Fires being on every post we make, that posting in there was superfluous. I will be around this evening, but the next few hours I am spending knocking down a wall with a sledgehammer, which is not nearly as fun as it sounds.
Also, what happened to my signature? That thing's a git to code...was it considered inappropriate for some reason?
